Rezumatul proiectului<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  R\u0103nile maligne (RM) sunt condi\u021bii incurabile, severe \u0219i debilitante care apar \u00een mod normal \u00een ultimele (\u0219ase) luni de via\u021b\u0103 ale pacientului oncologic, afect\u00e2nd calitatea general\u0103 a vie\u021bii \u0219i necesit\u00e2nd \u00eengrijiri paliative adecvate pentru a atenua durerea \u0219i suferin\u021ba. Microbiomul RM poate influen\u021ba dezvoltarea \u0219i severitatea simptomelor pl\u0103gii, provoc\u00e2nd mirosuri nepl\u0103cute, leziuni ale pielii, inflama\u021bii \u0219i, \u00een cele din urm\u0103, \u00eent\u00e2rzieri \u00een faza de proliferare a vindec\u0103rii.
 Proiectul ARGOS este implementat de un consor\u021biu format din dou\u0103 institu\u021bii de cercetare \u0219i o companie cu experien\u021b\u0103 anterioar\u0103 \u00een dezvoltarea produselor farmaco-cosmetice pe baz\u0103 de colagen \u0219i \u00ee\u0219i propune s\u0103 dezvolte o formulare inovatoare multifunc\u021bional\u0103 topic\u0103 bioactiv\u0103 pentru a ajuta la gestionarea r\u0103nilor maligne, prin abordarea simptomelor legate de microbiom, cum ar fi durerea, mirosul \u0219i exudatul.
 Solu\u021bia propus\u0103 se bazeaz\u0103 pe colagen \u0219i nanoparticule anorganice (de aur, argint \u0219i magnetice) func\u021bionalizate cu compu\u0219i bioactivi deriva\u021bi din plante (cum ar fi polifenoli con\u021binu\u021bi \u00een extractele Chelidonium majus L. \u0219i Tamarix gallica cu rol antioxidant, antimicrobian, antiproliferativ, antiviral \u0219i activitate imunomodulatoare). Prin urmare, principala noutate a solu\u021biei propuse este c\u0103 ofer\u0103 nu numai un efect antimicrobian, ci \u0219i activitate anti-cancer \u0219i pro-vindecare a r\u0103nilor maligne. Propriet\u0103\u021bile fizico-chimice, mecanice \u0219i biologice ale produsului optimizat pe baz\u0103 de colagen vor fi validate prin protocoale standard \u0219i se va elabora documenta\u021bia de scalare tehnologic\u0103 \u0219i argumentarea investi\u021biilor necesare testelor in vivo (TRL4).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(EN) Project Abstract<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Malignant fungating wounds (MFW) are incurable, severe, and debilitating conditions normally occurring in the last (six) months of oncologic patient\u2019 life, affecting the overall quality of life and requiring appropriate palliative care to alleviate pain and suffering. MFW\u2019s microbiome may influence the development and severity of wound symptoms, causing foul odors, peri-wound skin damage, inflammation, and ultimately, delays in the healing proliferative phase.
  ARGOS project is implemented by a consortium of two research institutions and one company with previous experience in developing collagen-based pharmaco-cosmeceutic products and is aiming to develop an innovative multi-purpose, bioactive topical formulation to assist the physical management of malignant fungating wounds, by addressing the microbiome-related symptoms such as pain, odor, and exudate. The proposed solution is based on collagen and inorganic – gold, silver and magnetic \u2013 nanoparticles functionalized with plant-derived bioactive compounds (such as polyphenols contained in Chelidonium majus L. and Tamarix gallica extracts, with previously demonstrated antioxidant, antimicrobial, antiproliferative, antiviral and immunomodulatory activity). Therefore, the main novelty of the proposed solution is that it provides not only a wide antimicrobial effect, but also anti-cancer activity and pro-healing properties on the site of malignant wounds. The physico-chemical, mechanical and biological properties of the collagen-based optimized product will be validated by standard protocols and the technological scaling documentation and argumentation of the investments required for in vivo tests will be elaborated (TRL4).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
